Avatr is a luxury EV brand born from a unique three-way joint venture: Changan Automobile, CATL (the world's leading EV battery manufacturer), and Huawei (intelligent technologies). Founded in 2021 in Chongqing, Avatr embodies the convergence of cutting-edge battery technology, artificial intelligence, and premium design. The Avatr 11 SUV and Avatr 12 sedan integrate Huawei's HarmonyOS and CATL's most advanced battery cells. In Egypt, Avatr was launched on 27 November 2025 by Al-Kasrawy Group — the first Chinese luxury EV brand in the country — with prices between 2.93 and 3.48 million EGP. In Morocco, Avatr is in the early stages of market introduction.
