Dongfeng Motor Corporation, founded in 1969 in Wuhan, Hubei province, is one of China's four major state-owned automotive groups and a long-standing joint venture partner of Nissan, Honda, and PSA. Its current lineup spans a broad spectrum from affordable ICE sedans (Shine) to large-capacity electric SUVs (008 EREV with 1,300 km range) and sporty EV sedans (E Pai 007). In Egypt, Dongfeng was launched in 2024 by SN Automotive — a joint venture between Al Safy Group and El Nasr Automotive — with nine ICE and EV models. A flagship showroom opened in New Cairo in March 2026. Dongfeng is present in Morocco through local importers.
