GAC Motor (Guangzhou Automobile Corporation), founded in 1997 in Guangzhou, is the passenger car subsidiary of one of China's largest automotive groups — a strategic joint venture partner of Toyota and Honda in China. GAC targets the mid-range segment with a full SUV lineup (GS3, GS4, GS5, GS7, GS8) and sedans (GA6, GA8), with an EV range in development. In Egypt, GAC is distributed by Jameel Motors Egypt (part of the Abdul Latif Jameel Group) and climbed to 9th position in Q1 2026. GAC is also present in Morocco through regional distributors.
