Soueast
Group Chery · Founded in 1995
Soueast Motor (东南汽车) is a Chinese automaker founded in 1995, originally a joint venture under Fujian Motors Group with historical ties to Mitsubishi Motors. In March 2024, Chery Automobile fully acquired Soueast, integrating it into the Chery group while preserving the Soueast brand identity. Many current Soueast models are rebadged Jetour/Chery platforms. Soueast launched officially in Morocco on July 5, 2025 through M-AUTOMOTIV, the leading Moroccan automotive distributor (also handling Renault, Dacia and Alpine), with an initial lineup of three SUVs (S06, S07, S09), followed by the S05 in late 2025/early 2026.
