The MG 7 is MG's flagship D-segment petrol sedan in Egypt, positioned at the premium end of the Chinese brand sedan offerings. Available only in a single Luxury trim at 1,665,000 EGP following a 65,000 EGP price increase in January 2025, the model targets upper-middle-income buyers who want a large, feature-rich Chinese sedan with a strong dealer network behind it. It competes against the JAC J7 and upper Chery Arrizo trims in the Egyptian premium Chinese sedan space. The MG 7's design language and cabin specification aim to close the gap with Korean premium sedans that have historically dominated this price band in Egypt.
