Powered by a 1.5T engine producing 172HP, it targets upper-compact SUV buyers comparing against MG ONE, Haval Jolion Pro, and Chery Tiggo 7 Pro in Egypt's 1.2–1.4M EGP SUV band. The Cityray completes Geely's mid-market SUV ladder, allowing buyers to step up from the Coolray without jumping to the Starray's significantly higher pricing. Geely's $250M BAMC plant infrastructure underpins the brand's Egypt expansion.
