The Geely Coolray is a locally assembled compact SUV produced at Geely's BAMC CKD plant in 6th of October City since January 2025, priced from 975,000 to 1,299,000 EGP. Built on Geely's BMA platform with a 1.5T engine producing 175HP, it competes directly against Chery Tiggo 4 Pro and JAC JS4 in Egypt's competitive entry-to-mid SUV band. BAMC production is backed by a $250M Geely-Automobility investment, and local manufacturing helps reduce USD import costs, improving price competitiveness in a market still recovering from EGP devaluation impacts. Geely's two-distributor network covers 45 sales and service outlets nationally.
